DADS FOR LIFE BLOG CONTEST
In conjunction with the launch of the Dads for Life website on 1 April 2010, you are invited to take part in a competition entitled "Dads for Life Blog Contest". The contest provides a platform for Primary and Secondary School students to share their thoughts on their relationships with their fathers through submission of a blog entry (blog post, drawing or video). The winning entries would be featured on the Dads for Life website. We hope that these heartfelt testimonies from you will inspire more fathers to play a more active role in their children's lives ... for LIFE.
The top 40 blog entries (for both primary and secondary) will be available online for public voting from 1 May 2010 to 9 May 2010. The grand prize is a IRTLab Future Classroom worth $5000! Contest winners will be announced during the Dads for Life Conference in May 2010. Send in your entry now!

Venue: AVA Room – (4th Level)
Cost : $90 per pair of parent & child
2. Family Fitness @ HotPark
Date : 10 April 2010
Time : 8.00 -11.00 am
Cost : $10 per participant

3. Dads For Life Blog Contest
Children have a strong role to play in inspiring and encouraging their Dads to be great fathers. With this in mind, DadsforLife is organising an island-wide blog contest in schools from 1 April to 21 April 2010. Children will finish the phrase: “You’re my Dad for Life and I’m really happy when you…” in video, blog post or drawing form. 40 Top Entries for Primary Level Category and 40 Top Entries for Secondary Level Category will be selected by a panel of judges and the final winners will be selected by public votes from 1 May to 9 May 2010.

This campaign seeks to:
1. Encourage children in Singapore to see their fathers’ worth.
2. Provide a platform for them to express these thoughts creatively, through art, writing or video.
3. Encourage their Dads when they see how much time and effort their children have put into creating the video/drawing/blog post and read/view/hear what their children have to say about them.
